My Story: From Our Kitchen to Yours
Hi! I’m so glad you’re here! I was born and raised in Evansville, Indiana, where family, community, and good home-cooked meals were always at the center of life. Growing up, I learned that food is more than just nourishment—feeding someone is love. It’s a way to connect, to comfort, and to care for the people we hold dear.
I’ve been married to my wonderful husband, Rob, since 1993, and together we’ve raised two amazing kids who continue to inspire me every day. Our family has always celebrated life’s little joys—Sunday lunches, summer gatherings, and holidays full of laughter, stories, and homemade food made with love.
The real spark for my jelly-making came from my husband’s grandmother. She never bought jelly or jam—some of the kids in his family wouldn’t even touch store-bought if they had to! When she made jam, you could taste the love she poured into it. Watching her transform fruit into something magical showed me that the kitchen is one of the purest places to say “I love you” without words.
That lesson stuck with me. Today, making jelly and jam is my way of carrying on that tradition. Each jar I make is small-batch, full of care, and meant to bring a little sweetness and comfort into someone’s day. It’s a gift of love in every spoonful.
